Brief History

Calyx Software has been reselling Dynamics GP (formally Great Plains) in the UK since 1993. Indeed, we were the very first reseller in the UK and have been implementing and supporting Dynamics GP for more than 15 years!

A brief history of how we got to become the UK's leading Microsoft Dynamics reseller is:-

• 1993 Sytation founded becoming the UK's first Dynamics GP reseller
• 1998 Sytation become one of the first resellers of the, now obsolete, Great Plains Siebel Front Office CRM application.
• 2001 Microsoft Acquire Great Plains
• 2001 Sytation become Microsoft GP Gold Partner
• 2003 Sytation become Microsoft CRM Gold Partner
• 2004 Mentec International acquire Sytation to become largest dedicated Dynamics GP reseller in EMEA
• 2005 Mentec/Sytation acquire XDAT, the premier London based reseller to increase its presence in the nations capital.
• 2006 Calyx acquire Mentec International in a move that creates the UK's first end-to-end ICT business.
• 2008 Mentec International/Sytation renamed as Calyx Software Ltd as part of a group wide re-branding exercise.
